Growing Practices
All of our seeds are collected, sifted, winnowed, and packaged by hand using primitive techniques. Each seed variety is heirloom or true to seed, as it is ideal for seed conservation and can be handed down through generations. Our selection is purposefully curated for flower farmer-florists, with each variety hand-picked for its use in floral design and garden production. All of our tubers are carefully divided, inspected, and treated for storage by hand using traditional practices. All of our plants are individually cultivated by hand with attention to any deficiencies or diseases and any affected plants are carefully removed and burned. We strictly use only organic methods to keep our bees and protect them as much as possible. If you have a concern about your order, let us know within 48 hrs.
Shipping
We are located on the East Coast, therefore we are not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or freezing during transit. Orders are shipped within 3-4 days unless labeled pre-order. Please order when the weather is safe for your area and you are ready to accommodate planting. Seed orders come in a padded bubble mailer and tubers come in a small box shipped priority. Seeds are packed clean, with chaff removed and checked if viable. Tubers are divided and packed clean, free of dirt and viable with 1 or more eyes and intact neck and firm body. If you have a concern about your order, let us know within 48 hrs.
Subscriptions
All subscriptions are final within 48 hrs. Bouquets are dependent upon growing season and weather, we will do the best we can in a bad season or try to compensate with seeds and tubers but refunds are not available. Please communicate if you cannot make pickup. All subscribers must make arrangements for pickups, and no shows will not be compensated. If you have a concern about your order, let us know within 48 hrs.
